The handsome hunk talks about his stint on I Can Do That
He is energetic, fun and adventurous. So, it was not surprising to see the handsome hunk of the TV industry, Rithvik Dhanjani winning the reality show, I Can Do That on Zee TV. Here are excerpts from an interview.
How was the experience of doing I Can Do That?It was one of the most fabulous experiences of my life. I got to do so many adventurous things one after another. It was not easy but fun. I had a gala time doing the show and enjoyed very act. I want every actor to do this show.
How did you prepare for the show?I watched the international version of I Can Do That to get a good idea of what was expected out of the contestants. I tried to gauge what was needed. Based on that, I started preparing for the show – physically and mentally.
According to you, what is the need of the hour in the TV industry?I feel everything’s great about the TV industry in India barring the story-telling. I feel we need to be a little bit more real cutting down on the drama. Of course, people love the melodrama but a hint of realism will get us new audiences. I feel everything else is quite good about the industry in India.
Do you feel TV actors are at a disadvantage as compared to film actors in India?Yes, the telecast pressure means we have to finish episodes within a certain time. At times, we have to compromise on the quality of our performances or other aspects, which is kind of disappointing.
