It is not only Vibhav, lead actress Shritama Mukherjee has also been shown the door Replacements are not uncommon in the TV industry. However, in the latest case, it is not one actor but a lead pair that has been replaced. Yes, Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee who play Raj and Koyal in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan have been shown the door. As per reports, the makers took this rather harsh decision as the TRPs of the show were quite low. Talking to a leading daily, Shritama said that there are issues but there is no clarity so far. She further said she won’t be disheartened as she has put in her best efforts.

In order to inject a fresh lease of life, Aly Goni and Asha Negi have been short-listed to portray Raj and Koyal. Viewers will know Aly as Romi Omprakash Bhalla of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actor has acquired a sort of fan following after the success of YHM and is loved for his cute looks. Asha Negi, of course, is famous as Purvi from the hit show, Pavitra Rishta, where her work was highly appreciated.

Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan is a love triangle in between Raj, Koyal and Maddy (Gautam Gupta). It is based in Jamshedpur and talks about Koyal who is loved by both Raj and Maddy. Gautam Gupta’s performance has been lauded by audiences and critics so far on the show. So far, one of the main grouses against the show is that it is highly similar to Balaji’s hit love story, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.
