We give you a lowdown on all that went on in telly town this full week that made headlines and all the stars who became newsmakers of the week.
Wedding Vows
So Gauahar Khan’s sister Nigaar Khan is getting hitched this month. We heard that the Khan Sisters are already in Dubai shopping for the big day. Nigaar is getting married to a businessman from Dubai – Khayyam Sheikh. The wedding is scheduled to be on July 23, 2015. Congratulations are also in order for Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna as the couple has declared that they will get married next year; the couple is already engaged which they did on the show.
Grave Injuries
Kapil Sharma suffered a slip disc injury, which forced the doctors to put the comedian on bed rest. Mr Sharma shot for the last episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil with Salman Khan. Now the show will be taken over by Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan. On the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, Ashish Chowdhry’s choreographer, Vrushali has a leg spasm and has hurt is gravely. Due to which the duo couldn’t even perform their full act.
Legal Battles
Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Patel are in trouble with the law for passing random comments on national heroes and India’s Constitution in a random video footage. Sources claim it was Karan who passed the lewd comments and not Rithvik. However, we still have no full report on this. Udaan’s actor, Sai Ballal was arrested and is under justice custody for sending lewd messages to his female co-star. He was arrested by the Borivali police on Wednesday.
New Beginnings
Parth Samthaan is back as the host of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya season 5. This time he will not host it with Smriti Kalra. Pooja Gor is back on TV with a new show Roshni on Life Ok. The medical drama seems something really fresh and new unlike other Indian medical shows in the past.
Telly Highs
In Diya Aur Baati Hum, it is declared that Sandhya will die and Sooraj will lose his voice. The show will take a leap post this sequence. In Colors’ Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Ishani has come back to Ranveer. During her brother’s wedding, she slaps Ritika for killing her mother, but later tells RV that it was out of concern for her child. In this week on Kumkum Bhagya, Aaliya attacks Bulbul and takes her place in the weddings. But Abhi figures it out and stops the wedding in time.
