From gifting cards and teddies to splurging on diamond rings and silver jewellery, TV stars' fans leave very little to the imagination of the actors when it comes to wooing their icons. Ahmedabad Times takes a sneak peek into the fans' obsession for their small screen idols. On her birthday, pretty lass Digangana Suryavanshi simply couldn't believe she'd garnered so much fan admiration when she was greeted with a huge chunk of goodies that included a gold and a diamond ring, soft toys and also letters written with fondness. Says the actress, "There have been times when I cried reading extremely emotional letters sent by my fans and they always make me proud. I have extreme respect for my fans because they are amazing." Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi A little too overboard fan moment, teddy, pen, gifts and compliments for Ashvik Says hottie Rithvik Dhanjani, "Well, I've had awkward situations at times with fans going a little overboard, but that never bothers me because I truly believe that their love for me has made me what I am today, so none of my fans, no matter how crazy they get, will ever make me feel awkward. In fact, I also believe that the crazy ones are often the honest ones and I love that." Pitches in Asha Negi, "I was really touched by this gesture from the fans and the first thought that I came across was what exactly have I done that I'm getting gifts for my work. I love their compliments." Mohammad Nazim Picture books and expensive watches Says the actor, "Picture books apart, once a fan couriered me a watch worth ` 10,000 and I really didn't know how to react a 20 year old fan doing a part time job and saving money to buy a ` 10, 000 ka watch was something which made me feel special at the same time a bit clueless as these days people don't spend that much money without giving a thought. One thing is that admiration from a fan can never be embarrassing, who doesn't like, though for me adulation can be a simple jhappi." Tina Dutta Letter written in blood, buying a star Being an actress, there should be a line of control, feels actress Tina Dutta. Sharing some most unbelievable fan moments, the actress says, "Once a fan sent me a certificate stating that he has bought a star for me and I didn't know how to react because I didn't even know such a concept exists! Once a fan wrote a letter in blood and called me too. That's when I had to explain to him not to repeat any such act." Adds Tina, "Being a girl, I become cautious when someone approaches me for taking even a picture. Once a fan from Bengaluru sent me 10 red roses for 10 days at my doorstep without mentioning the source where those came from. It really made me feel scared a bit. Though, later, that fan sent a letter revealing his identity." Ssharad Malhotraa Fans become pizza delivery chaps "I always acknowledge fans, but I feel they should not intrude in our live. I remember, once during those grand days of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, a fan came to my doorstep to deliver a pizza that I had not ordered. After a moment of thought, I realized it was a fan because normally all pizza delivery people are boys, so I was shocked to see a girl delivering pizzas! Once a girl kept calling me saying that she wants to marry me and she won't hang up till I say, 'I love you'. I had to politely disconnect the caller."
