This week has been low on action but there’s been a lot of drama on shows and some unexpected revelations
We give you a lowdown on everything that happened this week which we believe are newsworthy and made us sit up and take notice.
#Resignations: Anita Hassanandani and Taher Shabbir quit Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Nisha Aur Uske Cousins respectively. Anita who plays Shagun in YHM makes an exit after trying to ruin Ishita and Raman’s life. The actor is apparently taking a break from playing the vamp. However, we are still waiting on a confirmation on that. As for Taher Shabbir who plays Viraj on NAUC seemed to have finally understood that his character is going nowhere and hence has decided to put down his papers. The producers are yet to confirm this news but our sources don’t lie.
#Entries: Popular MTV show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan witnessed the re-entry of characters who had made an exit. Dishank Arora is coming back as the makers promised to make his character positive just the way he wanted it. Rushad Rana, who portrayed the gay character Raghav will come back to create some confusion in Cabir’s (Ayaz Ahmed) life.
#Karanvir’s Parties: The cast of Qubool Hai has been partying non-stop. Initially they were partying because their show was back in the top ten spot. Karan Singh Grover came back on the sets of the show just for the celebration. In addition to that, Karanvir Bohra threw a surprise bash for his dear co-star Surbhi Jyoti on her birthday. Then during the week they had a combined party for the success of the show and a few other birthdays from the cast of Qubool Hai.
#Three highly talked about tracks: Yeh Hai Mohabbatein showcased the earthquake track after being in news for weeks. Divyanka Tripathi’s brave actions made everyone proud as she risked her life to save her children. In Kumkum Bhagya, Pragya finally proves that Tanu is pregnant and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) agrees to marry Tanu breaking everyone’s heart. Finally, the nine month leap of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar that split Ragini and Neil once again.
#Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi: The couple were voted as the favourite real life couple by their ardent fans. AshVik got over 42 per cent votes and won hands down in front of couples like Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal, Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh and a few others.
